About Eesha

Justice for Eesha is a platform dedicated to accountability, transparency, and justice in the Muizzu-Eesha scandal (also known as the Aisha Documentary Scandal).

In March 2026, Maldivian news outlet Adhadhu released the documentary Aisha, featuring an anonymized interview with a former President's Office staffer. The woman alleged she had a sexual relationship with President Mohamed Muizzu while working as an administrator in his office. She is widely identified as Aishath Eesha Ashraf (also referred to as Eesha or Esha Ashraf), a young single mother.

The allegations describe encounters in the President's private cabin and raise serious concerns about abuse of power. Following the release, Maldivian authorities raided Adhadhu's newsroom, seized equipment, imposed travel bans on journalists, and pursued criminal charges under "qazf" (false accusation of adultery). Eesha herself has been summoned and questioned multiple times by police.

A Criminal Court order has confiscated Eesha's passport, placing her under a travel ban that prevents her from leaving the country.

This site tracks verified media reports, public records, and ongoing developments to support justice for Eesha, press freedom, and accountability for those in power. We believe victims of alleged misconduct deserve to be heard, not silenced.
